Karen O’Bryan has been involved with public access
as a director since October 11, 1990. She became
Secretary on September 12, 1991 and held the
position until her resignation from the board of LCTV in June of 2010. Karen still volunteers her time (and her husband Steve) for special LCTV projects and operates the recording
equipment for the Damariscotta selectmen’s bi-monthly
meetings. Talk about dedication! Karen has seen many
changes over the years; from originator Ivan Flye’s
vision of a local public access television station to
the current media center and 24/7 viewing. Karen says,
"Over the years, I have been privileged to work with
many motivated and knowledgeable people."

"The time I spend developing websites for non-profit and other
local websites, allows me to utilize my talents in a positive manner
by giving something back to my local community. Without some sort of
community oriented volunteerism, you are just taking advantage of
your community and the services it provides" - DOOKIE, owner of
